As a 1st time home buyer, the inspection process can be very intimidating. Every aspect of working with Shoveltown Home Inspections was straightforward and easy to navigate. Scheduling was done online, payment was at the inspection or online in advance. The inspector, Foster Kelly, showed up on time, clearly explained the process for the day of and what would come next. He used a drone to view the roof and chimney then did a thorough walk around of the property before coming inside. At that point, he changed his shoes which was very thoughtful. He explained the inside process again. Foster provided me with a lot of information, but I never felt overwhelmed or confused. At the end of the inspection, he went over the major points of it, and assured me I would receive my report within 24 hours. The report came through in less than 24 hours, it was very detailed and easy to read, understand and apply. I received a summary and a complete report. I would recommend Shoveltown Home Inspections and Foster Kelly to anyone who is buying a home.
